All right. Sitting here waiting for my laundry to dry in the 24 hours laundry shop, doing nothing is worthwhile I update my blog. Ok. Let's think of a subject to talk about. Rain. Flood. Rain. Flood. Goshhh.....seems that there's nothing much to talk about in this rainy season. I've been doing my laundry the whole night yesterday. Kilos by kilos of dirty laundry. I can't even remember of how many rounds of the washing machine been spinning. And its not only 1 machine. I still have th old one running and both was used to the maximum lately. The problem now is not the cleaning part, but more to the drying part. There's not enough room to hang all the laundry. No more space. No more ropes. No more at all. And the laundry is not drying fast enough to give extra space for the second batch.
So, the solution is, laundry shop. The nearest is about 2 kilometers from my house and it's open 24hours a day. Right. 24 hours. And it is self service coin operated machine. Which means, freedom of action. Sure people will say, there's plenty of time to go there to do your business. But hell NO. The queue is extra ordinary long. Especially at night. You'll never find any slot if not waiting for extra 1 hour plus. That's why, planning to go there is very important. I just can't waste my time for this. It's much easier if I left my laundry to a non-self service laundry. Let them do it for me. But of course I have to pay extra for that which is not worthwhile. It's better that I wait and pay a minimum of RM5 to get my laundry dry.
Hahahaha....talking about self service laundry,I always imagining of Hollywood movies. Where a beautiful young lady,in a city of New York, doing laundry by herself and meet a handsome man in the laundry shop, fell in love and live happily ever after. ....... hahhahahaahaha. Love story movies. That's not happening here of course. Those sitting in laundry shop mostly are the elderly one, me inclusive 😜. There's no way you'll find a young gorgeous lady in the laundry shop. Men? No way unless you meet me there.
I think that's all I can mumbling about in 27 minutes while waiting for the laundry to be warm and 85% dry. Adiós.
